Facelift by Dr. Barry Eppley - Jan 17, 2008

What does it take to make doctors see? (correct date of video is 2008, not 2007). There is no excuse for the thoughtless manner in which Dr. Barry Eppley performed my surgery. I am as close to dying as being forced to keep my spine in a posture anyone with normal anatomy would find comfortable for hours. If I had to wear a back brace or cervical collar for any reason, I would suffocate on my own tongue...choke on my own saliva. I would be dead in a matter of minutes. There is nothing wrong with my spine, so what has prevented me from lifting my head, straightening my spine and closing my jaw since 2001? The disintegration of tissue in the lower face and neck which hold the internal structures in position to allow normal function. Dr. Barry Eppley (Eppley Plastic Surgery) failed to do an essential part of the operation; release of the platysma muscle which allows you to lift your head and extend your neck. Instead, he gridlocked my soft tissue in a manner that has prevented my jaw from closing and head from lifting for nearly 7 years. This extreme, inappropriate tension and fixation of tissue has, over the years, weakened and torn the musculature which supports the floor of the mouth and holds the inner structures of the neck in place. This is not rocket science.. any tailor or seamstress could easily understand the mechanics involved in this disastrous scenario. So what prevents doctors from recognizing something that is plain to anyone with a basic knowledge of geometry, let alone the intricacies of surgical anatomy? The answer lies behind the White Wall of Silence.
